What One 8th Grade Girl Can Do…

A Chalk Talk!

by Marc J. Smith

In the spring, one of our Sandwich eighth grade students, Zoe Camaya at the Wing School,  organized a clothing drive to support Cradles to Crayons.  The drive supported children in need all across Massachusetts and is a part of her Project 351 service work.  This video  was created by Zoe to explain the project.

The clothing drive  was a huge success!  In talking with Zoe,  I learned that we sent over thirty-five 40 gallon bags filled with clothes to the collection area!  Thank you to all the families that supported this cause.

Our fourth grade students collected the greatest amount of clothes and were treated to ice cream during their lunch on Friday May 2nd.  I am very proud of the Wing School Community and their generous nature.
