Celebrating Clare Driscoll ~ Helping Sandwich Students be their Best Selves for 25 Years!

On Tuesday December 9th, the Town of Sandwich and the Sandwich Public Schools came together to honor their employees for their years of service. Dr. Ellin Booras, Principal at Sandwich High School, prepared these remarks about Ms. Driscoll.

A short three years ago, Clare Driscoll was presented with teacher of the year award at Sandwich High School. At that time, I remember saying that her classroom is the happiest place in building. Always bustling with energy and joyful laughter among her students and ESPs and colleagues, Ms. Driscoll does her magic with students with special needs each day. She is truly gifted as she never gives up on a young person and expresses her uncompromised faith in his or her ability to learn and to grow.

She is funny and fun.  She is the hostess with the most-ess!

She is tireless in her advocacy and always open to finding new ways to help her deserving students.

Clare Driscoll’s special talents are rare and greatly appreciated. She is truly beloved by the SHS community.
