Summer Reading @ SHS & STEM Academy…

This year, Sandwich High School and the STEM Academy students have chosen books they will read and reflect on through the summer. STEM students will do a project, from a long list of choices, and will have a book discussion upon their return to school in September. SHS students have also chosen books they will discuss with teachers and classmates in the fall.

The STEM Academy and SHS teachers of all subjects really enjoy choosing a book from the list the students compiled and find that a book club style discussion during the first weeks of school is a great way to get to know their students, and for classmates to get to know one another!
