School Committee moving its meeting location this fall
The Sandwich School Committee is excited to announce that we will soon be holding our meetings in the beautiful Town Hall facility. Once we are past some dates with conflicts, and logistics are worked out, it will become our home for meetings. One of our concerns was vacating the recently equipped media center at Sandwich High School, but Paula Johnson of STV responded that they had hoped to expand student offerings and this will allow them to do so. Stay tuned for the exact date of the move coming later this fall.

Three members of the school committee (Stephanie Hall, Beth Cummings and Nancy Crossman)
will be available at Café Chew on Friday, September 18, from 9:00 – 11:00 am for coffee and conversation with the public. This is the first of hopefully many “Office Hours” opportunities where we will listen to concerns and suggestions from the residents of Sandwich. Member participation will rotate, as well as day/evening times and locations, to provide a variety of choices for busy parent schedules in the future. It is our hope that this will further our goal of expanding communication to the residents.
