When do we go back to school?

The first day of school is September 6, 2016.

What time does school start in the morning, and end in the afternoon?

At Forestdale, school starts at 9am, and dismissal is at 3:30pm.

At Oak Ridge, school starts at 8:15am, and dismissal is at 2:45pm.

At STEM Academy/SHS, school starts at 7:30am, and dismissal is at 2:00pm.

Who will be my teacher this year?

At Forestdale and Oak Ridge, letters are being mailed out with teacher assignments. You should receive your letter by August 15, 2016.  If you have not received a letter by August 17, 2016, please contact the school.

How will I know what supplies to bring?

At Forestdale and Oak Ridge, the School Supply Lists are posted on the website, under Resources.  At STEM Academy and SHS, teachers will talk with student about what they need on the first day of class.

How will I know what is for lunch?

In the Resources section of the school website, Breakfast and Lunch Menus are posted each month.   

How will I know where my bus stop is?

Bus routes are published in the Sandwich Enterprise at the end of August. They are also available in the Resources section of the school website.

How can I stay up-to-date with the most current information?

The website is where all information is stored and is available to you at any time.

SandwichLearnsTogether.org is our online magazine, with regularly posted articles about the great work happening across the district, PreK-12.  You can sign up to receive new articles in your email, as they are published.

Each school now has a facebook page, and we have district facebook page.  Like the pages to receive information in your news feed. Read more about our increased use of social media.
