News for Families of SHS Seniors from The Guidance Department

Kathy Lucas, Director of Guidance, has sent the following out to families of SHS Seniors…

Dear Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2017,

On Thursday, September 22 the School Counseling Department met with seniors to discuss the following:

college planning process
college application process

We encouraged students to begin scheduling individual meetings with their counselor to discuss the process and any questions or concerns they may have. Parents/guardians are welcome to attend.

We would also like to remind parents that Financial Aid Night is next Thursday, Sept. 29th at 6 p.m. in the Sandwich High School Library.

If your son or daughter is interested in taking the ASVAB (military entrance exam), it will be held at Sandwich High School on Oct. 18th. Permission slips signed by parents are due to the Guidance Dept. by Oct. 11th.
