Stop by and Chat with Our New Superintendent at the Sandwich Public Library!

In an effort to get to know the entire Sandwich community, new Superintendent Dr. Pam Gould is spending time in the Heart of Our Community, aka The Sandwich Public Library. Sandwich_Public_Library_Logo copy.jpg

Twice a month, she is “hanging out” in the sunny conference room by the reading area – inviting community members and family members to stop by for conversation.  Visit with her on the first Tuesday morning and the third Tuesday afternoon of each month.

at-library-1“Of course, everyone is welcome to call me or stop by my office at the Wing School,” Dr. Gould explained. “However, I wanted to literally reach out to the community, and be available in a place where people gather and would be visiting as part of their regular routines. I’ve quickly learned that the library is a big part of the town.”

Library Director Joanne Lamonthe loved the idea of hosting the new Superintendent for “Open Office Hours” in the library. Children/Young Adult Librarians Stu Parsons and Kathy Johnson were among the first to welcome Dr. Gould to town, as a participant in both Story Time and the Annual Summer Reading Ice Cream Social!

Upcoming Opportunities to visit with Dr. Gould are:

  • Tuesday, March 7, 2017 10 am – noon
  • Tuesday, March 21, 2017 4 pm – 6pm
  • Tuesday, April 4, 2017 10 am – noon
  • Tuesday, May 2, 2017 10 am – noon
  • Tuesday, May 16, 2017 4pm – 6pm
