Dr. Pam Gould is the Superintendent of the Sandwich Public Schools

At their meeting on Wednesday, December 7th, the Sandwich School Committee voted unanimously to offer Dr. Pamela Gould the postion of Superintendent of the Sandwich Public Schools. Dr. Gould has been serving as Interim Superintendent since July 1, 2016.
School Committee Vice Chair Stephanie Hall shared a presentation which summarized the feedback received during multiple public outreach sessions in recent months. School Committee members Beth Cummings, Chair Jay McGrail and Ms. Hall spoke with and listened to teachers and staff at each school, as well as at a general meeting for any community member to attend. They spoke with Administrators, PTA members, the “Superintendent Student Council” group – a monthly gathering of students, grade 7-12, who have been meeting with Dr. Gould since school started, and as they said – people in the grocery store, via email, on the phone and more!
Overwhelming the feedback from the community has been positive, and supportive of Dr. Gould as the leader who will lead Sandwich Public Schools in a positive direction.
After the vote was taken, all present at the meeting, broke into applause.
