The Knights Theatre Company brings Peter & the Starcatcher to the SHS Stage…

Do you remember Disney’s Peter Pan? The Knights Theatre Company’s 2018 Fall production of Peter & the Starcatcher is a “prequel” to Peter Pan, based on the novel of the same name by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson (play by Rick Elise). Over 50 Stem & SHS actors perform to tell the background stories of how Peter becomes Peter Pan, why a crocodile ticks and what it means to be Friends for Life!

In speaking with some of the actors, they are very excited about this production because they believe it involves the audience more than other recent KTC plays – we will have opportunities to use our own imaginations while enjoying this performance! The actors also highlight the play’s comedic flair while emphasizing the heartfelt theme of children’s innocence … in their opinions, seeing their show is a fun way for the community to come together and escape from the realities of our world right now. If their camaraderie and sense of family during our interview was any indication, this is going to be another amazing show!

Peter & the Starcatcher debuts on the SHS stage on November 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th – all shows begin at 7pm. Adult tickets are $12, Student/Senior tickets are $10 and all are available at the door for general seating.

Enjoy the show!
