Building Chairs and Thinking Spring @ SHS

Mr. Coakley’s Wood Technology classes has finished their last production of

Adirondack Chairs for the Fall Semester. Each class is set up into 4 groups, each group produces 2 chairs.The first chairs are built in the “instructional phase”, all students learn about the wood, fasteners,  tools and machinery . Safety First ! While building these chairs the students are required to keep an electronic notebook (How to build an Adirondack Chair ). The second chair is constructed from these electronic notebooks reinforcing what the students learnt with the first chair. Some chairs are available for sale…..email me at …….THINK SPRING !!!
