Seen Around Sandwich!!  STEM and Oak Ridge students help those affected by Hurricane Harvey!

by Stephanie Hall, Sandwich School Committee

This weekend, students from the Sandwich STEM Academy and the Oak Ridge School held an old-fashioned lemonade stand to help raise funds for the American Red Cross for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.  They worked very hard organizing the event and were able to collect a whopping $1,167.25, which is already on its way to the Red Cross to help those in need!  We appreciate their efforts and applaud their service to help those outside of our own community!

Congratulations and thanks to Sydney Leahy, Elaine Bateman, Michelle Tellez, Molly Alty, Abby Hall, Jack Leahy, Jack Bateman, Grace Bateman, Jack Salafia, Jack Lorge, Dominic Bruni & Tanner Hallas!
