Sandwich Halloween Festival!

Once again, the STEM/SHS PTSA will be sponsoring an amazing Halloween celebration at Heritage Museum and Gardens.
Grand Marshalls for the Costume Parade which “opens” the event are:
-Chris Dintino, Principal Forestdale
-Trish Hill, Principal Oak Ridge
-Sarah Murray, Asst Principal Oak Ridge
-Jim Mulcahy, Principal SHS
-Chip Hill, Asst Principal Sandwich STEM Academy

Most of the activities are in-door so weather should not be a factor.

New this year:  Story Book Trail, Dunk Tank, and some new games.   Josie Scott – FD librarian, Chrissi Howell – 2nd grade teacher, Chris Hallas and Lauren Melillo of Sandwich Partnership for Families will be narrators on the Story Book Trail with a few others expected to join.

We partnered with the SHS Junior Class to run the game room and face painting; the Senior Class to run the Dunk Tank, and Sandwich Soul for the Cake Walk so there will be lots of terrific SHS kids on hand to interact with families.

Lastly, the Haunted Maze has been moved indoors –due to construction at Heritage – and is now the Haunted House. Families with young children can go through from 5 – 5:45 pm and it will be “less scary” –less noises, no jumping out, etc.
