What excites you about teaching in Sandwich?

From the first day, the staff at Oak Ridge was so nice. They all seem like one big family and I feel that having that support is important.

What is your favorite teaching memory from the past few years?

At the school I worked at in New Hampshire, once a month we had a “showcase.” This is when certain classrooms would showcase what they had been learning with made-up skits, songs and more. The kids loved it and felt so good about themselves.

What is your favorite memory as a student?

As a student, I was on the track team and was a cheerleader. My favorite memories are based in the feelings of being part of a team and working together.

What might we be surprised to know about you?

I grew up in Guilford, NH and worked there after college for 14 years at the local Elementary School.
