Club Fair at SHS Showcases “Something for Everyone!”

On September 19, 2014, SHS held its annual Club Fair in the gym. The Club Fair is an opportunity for freshmen to learn about many of the extra-curricular activities available at SHS.

There are so many  different clubs for students to join as part of their High School experience. Some, such as Key Club and Habitat for Humanity, are focused on providing service to the community. Others, such as Philosophy Club, Book Club and International Studies, provide opportunities for students to stretch themselves intellectually in a fun, social environment. Knights Theater Company attracts performers, singers and techies.

Mr. Childress did some filming at the club fair. As you enjoy his video, notice not only the enthusiasm of the upperclassmen who are reaching out to freshmen to join their groups, but also Dr. Booras’s committment to meeting her students’ needs by learning about other clubs they would enjoy.
